Lose Weight for a Healthy Life
If you're overweight you probably have heard alot of benefits of losing
weight from others..or have at least looked into losing weight from the different ways out there. There's different workouts, diets, diet pills, etc.
Let me tell you as a personal trainer my clients not only get many
benefits from losing weight..but that alone drives them to keep the weight off by living a healthy lifestyle. As my clients lose weight they gain more energy for everyday activities. Being more active leads to burning more calories..which leads to more weight loss. So simply having more energy can help you lead a healthy life. With weight loss comes eating healthier..usually the hardest part of leading a healthy life. As I have seen in my clients..the sooner they start eating better and see some results on the scale..the easier eating clean comes for them.
Another not so fun part of losing weight is the dreaded workouts.
When I say workouts, I mean cardio AND weightlifting. Cardio helps you
burn the most calories and keeps your heart healthy along with lowering
the blood pressure. Weightlifting helps not only gain lean muscle..but
is very important for seniors as it helps add bone density. All of this:
the cardio, nutrition, and weightlifting all leads to a faster metabolism!
All of the before mentioned help lose weight and help us lead an active and healthy life. So get out to your local gym or buy some dumbells and get to working out and eating healthier so we can live great and healthy lives!

Childhood Obesity/Weight Problems
Childhood Obesity
Children and their weight problems these days. Teen obesity numbers are up to 35% of kids and doesn't seem to be dropping anytime soon. With 60% plus people now considered overweight..i dont see the trend in our eating ways changing. If it weren't for sports this number could be much worse..and it's times like this parents should be encouraging their kids to get into a sport they enjoy or at least do for exercise weekly. I had teenage friends that were obese and never played a sport in their life or desire to..but there never was an adult to put the "bug" in their ear to enjoy playing or participate in one. I don't like soccer..but if it gets kids exercising and that's what they enjoy im all for it! Not only this..when our kids need a role model in these sports..we have the Tiger Woods, A-Rods, McGwires, etc..America is fat..and we as Americans need to fix it..take a hard look in the mirror and don't get down..keep your head up and WORK ON IT!! We put the weight on and We can take it off! Lets not be the jokes of other countries and the jokes of ourselves..lets get healthier and fit and look good while being the best country in the world..and it all starts with our children!

When your at home and cant get to the gym or just need a quick
upper body workout..there is the push up. It will work your chest, triceps, and shoulders.
The biggest problem with push ups is the stress it causes on your wrist.
With the Push Up Pro the wrist stress is gone! Not only that the twisting
motion of the Push Up Pro also hits the middle of your pecs..an area only targeted this good by chest flys.

1. Portion Control: Portion sizes in restaurants and at fast food spots are twice the size they were 20 years ago..The easiest way to lose weight is to simply cut down how much you eat at each meal.
2. Healthier Choices: There’s a book..Eat this not that. If your gonna eat rice.. eat brown..if your gonna have pasta..have whole grain..etc.
3. Small Frequent Meals: Fasting is not smart..not eating stops your metabolism and is terrible for your health. Take a supermodel that doesnt eat for an example..they dont eat during their model career..stop modeling think they can eat and end up blowing up..regardless of how good they eat..if you dont have any metabolism whatever you eat your going to store.
4. When to eat: Breakfast is probably the most skipped meal. Your body is catabolic when you wake up because you havent eaten in hours..then you keep it there when you dont eat until lunch or your mid morning snack..Keeping your body in a catabolic state slows your metabolism. Around your workout is also a very important. Preworkout meal is important for your energy levels..Post workout so you dont go back to the catabolic state and because your body has used all of its nutrients and NEEDS more.
All in all..it comes down to cals in vs cals burned..
